Data controller

The data controller is Floaty. For any request about your data you can write to info@floaty.it.

What data we collect

Browsing the website does not require you to give us any personal data. If you write to us through the contact form we collect your name, email address, company and project type (if you provide them) and the text of your message.

Why we use it and on what basis

We use this data only to reply to your request and, if you wish, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not use the data for marketing and we do not pass it on to third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as needed to handle the request and any relationship that follows, and then we delete them.

Cookies and third-party services

The website uses a single technical session cookie, set on the contact page to protect the form from automated submissions. It is deleted when you close the browser. We do not use profiling cookies or third-party analytics, and the fonts are hosted on our own server.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format (Articles 15–22 GDPR). If you believe the processing is not lawful you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
